Our tutor, Lisa, was exactly what we needed. She did a great job providing my daughter some additional support in her Math class as they started to deal with more complex subject matter. Lisa was very available, responsive and accommodating with her time. I would definitely recommend Lisa and the Learner Program in general!

I can’t say enough about how pleasantly surprised I was with this service. You never know what you’re going to get when you book online and the experience was excellent. The tutors were professional, prompt and experts in the SAT. It helped my daughter gain the insight and confidence needed to increase her score, I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend the service.

I really enjoyed my experience with Mr. Cary Mallon and I think he was a great tutor. He began helping me when I was in a bad spot with my grades, attitude, and confidence in math and he helped get all of those things improved substantially. He even went out of his way to do extra for me like work on problems outside of our given time in order to help me understand them better. I am extremely happy with my time with him as a tutor.

After doing some extensive searching and trying in person math classes (at Mathnesium), I decided to go with Learner for a personalized experience. Anuja is a great tutor! She works well with my 4th grader in a way that has boosted her confidence in math and also increased her interest in Math.

Tutor Cassandra Bond was courteous, professional and accurate when tutoring both my 13 year old twins. Because of her help, both my kids were able to answer Algebra test questions correctly at school, which raised their grades. Moreover, it raised their self esteem! This company has been great from start to finish. We have a high school student who is studying for the SAT. She requested help in SAT math only. Multiple support staff coordinate to help you find a tutor who is the right fit. These support staff are very important to the experience. You are not left alone with simple tutor reviews on some marketplace type website like other companies provide. (...) Their customer service is of the highest caliber.

Joel Acosta has been very helpful in supporting our 16 year old daughter with her advanced IM3 High School math. He is patient, able the explain thoroughly, and can encourage her with her efforts. We had some last minute tutoring request and Joel was able to accommodate us so that she could review materials for quizzes.

My daughter was lost in math. Her class size was huge and knowledge gaps were not being addressed. Worse, she was being pulled out of another class, missing valuable instruction, to get extra math help. Then, I found Learner. I could not believe our luck, as I read about their approach. As good as I thought this would be for my daughter, nothing prepared me for her first session with her tutor, Joel Acosta. In just one session, Martina was motivated again. She immediately could explain to me the big takeaway from the session: PEMDAS. She had covered this in math class and in school tutoring, but Joel was the first person who really helped her understand why the order of operations works. It stuck. She was able to apply it to her homework right away. It's one thing to find a flexible, on-line tutoring program. But people matter, too. It's clear to me that Learner recruits tutors with a genuine enthusiasm for the material and Joel's enthusiasm is infectious! My only regret is that I did not find this resource sooner!!!
