Denis Grosz

I am a tech entrepreneur who has built websites that have received over 1.5 billion unique visitors since 2003. I graduated with a degree in Philosophy from UC Berkeley and made my way through with a combination of scholarships & entrepreneurship.  

I am the cofounder of Mechanism Ventures, which focuses on building tech startups with a focus on early traction and a clear path to making a massive positive impact. I am also the cofounder of BestReviews, a product-review website which was sold to Tribune Publishing.

I have been an early investor, advisor, and board-member of Thumbtack, ApartmentList, BestReviews, and Autolist. I have also invested in and advise SmartAsset, Udemy and other tech startups.

Hobbies and interests

I enjoy hiking, pottery, and fine woodworking.
