I have years of experience tutoring and teaching college level mathematics. I have a joint bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics from Harvard university and I am currently an adjunct faculty at Tallahassee Community College. I tutor grades 10-College.
My approach in tutoring involves identifying and catering to the learning profile of a student. This involves understanding what their weaknesses are, how they learn and most importantly, what gets them excited about the subject in question. It is alsways my hope to draw the student's curiosity toward the subject.
One of the first people I tutored was in GRE Math, They were a working professional in a field that did not actively use mathematics. Consequently, they had forgotten much of the material needed for the math section of the exam. We met twice a week for 2 months and eventually they did well enough in their GRE exam to get admitted to their dream graduate school; which was a competitive school to get into.
I like to write poetry, read philosophy and watch movies in my spare time. I also love playing soccer and watching people playing soccer.
