About Me

I am a certified secondary mathematics teacher with 4 years of experience. I have a bachelor's in mathematics from the University of Minnesota and have been tutoring since 2016.

Tutoring Style

I love mathematics and want to share the joy of understanding math with my students. I am a tutor who is adaptive to a student's specific learning style, and willing to try out a problem in many different ways. I will always spend time searching for a student's root of misunderstanding so that we can address learning gaps and set up a brighter future.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped one of my high school students increase her math SAT score. She asked for help getting her math scores up to get into her desired university. We worked together twice a week for 6 months, and many practice tests later she exceeded her expected/hopeful score and got into her school of choice.

Hobbies & Interests

When I am not tutoring, I enjoy getting outside! I love to hike, bike, and play softball. I also enjoy spending time with my cat and completing the New York Times games.
