I am an IT Specialist with over 5 years of experience in tutoring Math and Computer Science to K-12 and college students. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Mississippi.

Tutoring Style

My tutoring style is student-centered, focusing on understanding each individual's unique learning needs and preferences. I aim to create an engaging and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts in depth. I use a variety of teaching methods, including real-world examples, interactive activities, and step-by-step explanations, to ensure concepts are clear and memorable. Additionally, I emphasize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help students become independent learners.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped a high school student struggling with math. He was failing Algebra II and felt overwhelmed by the material. We worked together twice a week, focusing on understanding the core concepts and building his confidence. By the end of the semester, he improved his grade from an F to a B+ and developed a newfound appreciation for math. He continued to excel in his subsequent math courses and even decided to pursue a degree in engineering.

Hobbies & Interests

When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy coding and working on personal projects; I'm currently building a website. I like to relax by watching TV and find joy in journaling my thoughts and experiences. I also love experimenting with new recipes and trying out different cuisines in the kitchen.
