About Me

I am a mathematics educator with 7 years of teaching high school and 1 year teaching at the college level. I have my bachelor's from Illinois State University and my masters from DePaul University in mathematics education. I have been tutoring since 2016 for high school and college mathematics.

Tutoring Style

I am an enthusiastic teacher who loves incorporating social-emotional strategies and music. I learn what my students need and will cheer them along as they learn and grow. Review and celebration of improvement will always be enforced.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped a student from 8th grade to senior year of high school with math anxiety. She needed a lot of encouragement and practice to build confidence. She graduated high school with an A in her math class and attended Illinois State University to further her education.
