About Me

I am a personable tutor with a passion for helping students succeed. I have a Master's in data science and have been working with students middle school and up for over a decade.

Tutoring Style

My goal is to meet the student where they're at, helping them build both comfort and confidence. More than just topic mastery, I seek to equip my students with the drive to take control of their educational journey.

Success Story

My student was a middle school math whiz who suddenly found themselves out of their depth when they took AP Statistics. They were distressed that a subject that had been so easy for them previously was now their weakest. As we met throughout the year we reexamined the concepts from a few different perspectives until finally it just 'clicked' for them. It was downhill from there: they regained their confidence, passed their AP exam, and went on to take a stats-related major in college.

Hobbies & Interests

I play all kinds of games: video games, board games, card games, etc. I also love to travel and have been to every continent (except Antarctica... so far).
