I am a professional tutor with 7 years of experience tutoring mathematics to students of all ages. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Upper Iowa University and I tutor grades 7-College.

My tutoring style:

I am an upbeat and encouraging tutor, excited to teach students in math. I am able to teach many topics in multiple ways and I am always willing to repeat  myself, change speeds or jump ahead depending on the needs of the student.

Success story:

My favorite success story is about a student who earned a D+ in a prerequisite math course but was moving on to Elementary Statistics.  She was very nervous so came in early during the semester.  We worked together 2-3 days each week for about an hour. She ended up earning an A in her course and was so inspired that she re-took her prerequisite math course to replace that D+ grade with an A as well. She graduated with honors with her BA in Psychology degree and now has her MBA.

Hobbies and interests:

I enjoy playing golf, and camping when the weather is nice.  One of my recent hobbies is 3D printing and creating things by drawing in CAD software.  I enjoy watching sports and spending time with my family and friends.
