I have 2 years of individual tutoring, and 4 years of undergraduate teaching experience. I specialize in Math and Economics. I tutor grades 4-College. I have a bachelor's degree from Lake Forest College and a Master's degree from UIC.

Tutoring Style:

I am a passionate and carrying teacher, that always makes sure my students do understand the material, before moving to the next topic. I make sure that my students are able to answer non-standard questions, and can explain the problem-solving algorithm.

Success Story:

One of my most challenging tutoring experiences was working with a 5th-grade student with ADHD who struggled with basic math concepts (fractions). She often found herself distracted, so I focused on breaking problems into smaller, manageable steps and talked her through each small step to keep her attention focused. This was not easy, as I had to repeat some lessons couple of times. But in the end, she managed to pass her grade exams.
