About Me

I am a certified teacher with seven years of experience in K-5 classrooms in Colorado and South Carolina. I have my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction! As a former building-level GT and MTSS Coordinator, one of my greatest strengths is the ability to offer differentiated instruction.

Tutoring Style

I am a warm and kind teacher, passionate about the learners I work with. I begin with establishing a foundation of care, trust, and respect. I am able to adjust instruction swiftly for remediation or enrichment.

Success Story

One of my greatest success stories involved working with a young student who was reading three grade levels below expectation. Through forging a solid relationship, meeting her at her ability level, and offering personalized instruction - she made tremendous gains in the same academic year.
