I am a certified teacher with more than four years of classroom experience teaching math, ELA (English Language Arts), and social studies to students aged 4 to 18. I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Albany and a master's degree from Relay Graduate School of Education.

Tutoring Style

My tutoring style is student-centered and adaptable, focusing on each individual's unique learning needs and pace. I strive to make lessons engaging and interactive, ensuring students are actively involved in their learning process. I provide clear explanations and use various methods to reinforce understanding, including practical examples and regular reviews. My goal is to build confidence and mastery in each subject, helping students achieve their academic goals with enthusiasm and success.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories involves transitioning an elementary school student from in-person to remote learning during the pandemic. Initially struggling with the new format, the student found it challenging to keep up with math and reading. By implementing structured online sessions and using interactive tools, we created an engaging virtual learning environment. Over the semester, the student's grades improved significantly, and they adapted well to the remote setup, ultimately achieving excellent progress in both subjects. This experience boosted the student's confidence and equipped them with valuable skills for independent learning.

Hobbies & Interests

When I’m not tutoring, I love taking care of my dogs and baking. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my pets, going for walks, and playing in the park. Baking is another passion of mine; I find it relaxing and love experimenting with new recipes. Sharing my baked treats with family and friends brings me great joy.
