A patient and resourceful tutor with 15 years of experience tutoring elementary, high school, and college students. Proficient in Mathematics and Chemistry subjects. I have my Doctorate Degree in the Healthcare field, pharmacy to be exact.

Tutoring Style

My tutoring tactics include helping students become independent learners through kindness, encouragement, and lots of practice. My techniques include breaking down information/questions so that students understand and can replicate and learn on their own.

Success Story

My first ever student to tutor was a student who could not speak, was not able to read lips, and was enrolled in a College Algebra class. She came to me at the beginning of the semester and needed help to understand the subject. Therefore, I started by showing her how to solve the problems step by step and wrote each step on the paper for her to be able to read. This was the technique we used until she finished the semester. She passed the class with an A+. This is when I realized I was meant to be a tutor
