About Me

I am a certified teacher with five years of experience teaching math, reading, and science in grades 4-8. I have a bachelor's degree from Allegheny College and two Master's degrees in education. I tutor grades K-9.

Tutoring Style

I am an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for learning. I specialize in differentiating my instruction to the needs of my students. I teach to their preferred learning styles and use techniques that ensure their success.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped a student learn to read. This student came to me not able to identify all the letters in the alphabet and after a year of working with me, she was able to read books and answer questions about what is happening in the story.

Hobbies & Interests

When I am not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching TV and movies, shopping at my favorite stores, and eating out at restaurants.
