About Me

I love Math and Science and I have been teaching for 15 years. I have a Master's in Ed, and my husband and I own a successful Plumbing company in Tucson AZ. I tutor from pre-algebra to Calculus (AB, I, II, III).

Tutoring Style

I LOVE MATH, nothing makes me happier, than seeing the lights come ON. Math is a skill, and with PRACTICE it gets easier. I am here to HELP kids understand the steps, so they can independently find success in answers and scores. I work with the materials they have, so they are successful in their classes. Nothing builds confidence like gettin' the math!

Success Story

A past student of mine (from High School, Intro Calculus) started at the U of A. He failed Calculus I, 2 times, and was about to give up on his Engineering Career. He enrolled in a summer course, he and I worked together all summer and he PASSED with a 96%! The best part is seeing how PROUD he was of himself. Math should never stop a future, make you work for it, perhaps ;-)

Hobbies & Interests

We love Minnesota and go there to swim, fish, kayak, and canoe. I love animals and plants and hope to start a garden :-) I have High School kids of my own so it's busy :-)
