About Me

I am a certified math and special education teacher with more than 5 years of experience teaching in classrooms. I have taught classes ranging from middle school courses up to Calculus and SAT/ACT preparation.

Tutoring Style

I utilize a blend of strategies from my expertise in mathematics and special education classes to meet the diverse needs of my students. My approach involves adaptability, patience, and personalized instruction based on my student's learning styles/needs.

Success Story

One of my favorite stories is about a student of mine who had dropped out of her AP calculus class midway through the school year. She was still intent on performing well on the exam, so a few months leading up to it I started seeing her a couple of times a week we worked on the rest of the course and prepared her for the exam. We were able to earn a 5 despite drastic personal setbacks throughout the amazing school year!

Hobbies & Interests

I have always had a strong passion for outdoor activities. I am most passionate about golfing and have been doing it since I was a kid. I have recently picked up surfing and pickleball amongst other activities. In my former life, I used to be deep in the video game scene which I still dabble in from time to time.
