About Me

I have been tutoring and teaching for over 7 years now, where I have worked with students of all ages & subjects. I have a passion for connecting with students and guiding them to improvement in the subjects that they struggle with!

Tutoring Style

I like to change the style of teaching depending on the student and their: understanding level, style of learning, interest in the subject, and how they feel about the subject in general. I enjoy making lessons that are engaging and informative, and that allow the students to work on their understanding of the topic and their skills through practicing using the subject. I tailor lesson plans to fit the needs of individual students and take the time to craft lessons that will allow them to succeed.

Success Story

A couple of years ago I had a student going into kindergarten who struggled with reading and writing comprehension skills. After working over the summer on his ability to read words and understand them, we saw great improvement. At the start of the next school year, he passed a comprehension test with flying colors. I have a drawing from the student depicting us and our work together hanging in my home office.

Hobbies & Interests

I have a passion for space and the great unknown. I love learning more about the mysteries of space and teaching people about space in general. I also love building LEGOs, cooking, fitness, and listening to music!
