I graduated from BYU-Idaho in Applied Mathematics. I've been doing math tutoring since 2021.

Tutoring Style

I like to help students with homework problems. I explain the concepts necessary. Then, I walk the student through the problem, asking questions to engage the student and make sure they understand everything. The further along we go, the more I back off and let the student do as much as they can by themselves.

Success Story

When I was in college, our teacher had us take collaborative quizzes where we would have time to do the problems ourselves, and then we would have time to talk to the person sitting next to us about the problems and change our answers if necessary. At the beginning of the semester, my neighbor had no clue what was going on, and I always got to explain the problems to him. He ended up scoring in the 90's on the final exam.

Hobbies & Interests

I like to sing, I like to do family history, to pretend to be a sports broadcaster while watching BYU sports, and I'm a big fan of Undertale and Deltarune.
