I'm a certified teacher with over a decade of experience tutoring math, social studies, and English. I have a bachelor's degree from Duke University and tutor middle school-college.

Tutoring Style

I'm passionate about tutoring and teaching. I'm encouraging and positive, and I always aim to help my students build self-confidence. I know that everyone learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to meet my students' needs.

Success Story

My favorite success story is about a student I started working with five years ago. She was a D student struggling with all her high school classes. I helped her organize her schoolwork and develop her study skills, and she raised her grades to an A- level by the next quarter. She is currently at a selective liberal arts school, and I am still working with her!

Hobbies & Interests

I love the outdoors! I'm an avid hiker, backpacker, and scuba diver. My favorite sports are snowboarding and basketball. I also like to play video games and read in my free time.
