About Me

I am a certified math teacher with more than 14 years of experience teaching in three different states. I have a bachelor's degree from UCSD and I tutor grades 6-12.

Tutoring Style

I am patient when tutoring and I can explain topics in different ways to help students understand. I care about my students and want them to succeed in math and in life. My students always achieve their goals because we study together until they feel confident and prepared.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped a student through both Algebra and Geometry in one year so that she could finally graduate high school at the age of 19. We met four days a week and reviewed each topic in the book and then she practiced on her own. She never thought she could understand math but by the end of the year she could explain everything about Algebra and Geometry to me and she obviously passed her tests with flying colors. At graduation, she told me she never would have graduated if it wasn't for me and my dry sense of humor.

Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy exercising, reading books, playing board games with friends and, playing games on my ps5 and computer. I also love all animals and cats in particular.
