I have helped many high school and college students achieve their academic goals. I received my Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from UC San Diego in 2020 and I currently work both as a mathematics tutor and data analyst.

My tutoring style:

No two students learn the exact same way or have the same skillset. For this reason, it is important to me that I understand what the student knows and how they prefer to undergo certain procedures. Once I know this, I will work with their style to make sure they grow and further develop their general knowledge of math. I always try to make math fun by explaining the bigger picture so that my students not only learn to do math, but learn to love math as a whole.

Success story:

I always love when my students change from hating math to appreciating it as much as I do.

When I took one particular student on, he was struggling with math and had no interest in it. He loved English and history and thought he would never need math in his future. As a I tutored him, my goal was to make him see math as a big picture rather than as tedious individual tasks. He slowly began to understand and he eventually started to enjoy math. It got to a point where he no longer needed me to explain things to him, but rather guide him by making him think more deeply about why math works the way it does. Today, he is an engineering student and has completely forgotten about his former love of history...

Hobbies and interests: 

I enjoy playing, watching, and analyzing soccer from all over the world. If it has to do with soccer, I probably know about it. I enjoy playing video games and I stream publicly on Twitch and YouTube. I also love pets so I have cared for dogs, lizards, fish, and rabbits.
