I am a certified Biology teacher with 7 years of experience in the classroom teaching math and science to 8th-12th grade students. Before that, I have tutored college, high school, and middle school students since 2012. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology from Penn State University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching STEM from Stevenson University.

Tutoring Style:

My tutoring style is flexible and I like to adapt my strategies to meet each student's needs. I use frequent questioning and additional independent practice to make sure that the student has a solid understanding of the concept before moving on.

Success Story:

One of my high school students had never passed a science class, and was struggling to overcome his learning disabilities and understand the material in his Ecology class. He had given up on himself, but after working with him weekly for a semester, he brought his grade up and strengthened his confidence in himself!
