About Me

I am a certified teacher with experience in classrooms teaching English Language Arts and English as a Second Language in middle, high, and international schools.

Tutoring Style

I am enthusiastic and passionate about English Language Arts. I am flexible and adaptable to the needs of my students and will work with them to meet their level. I want my students to feel comfortable and confident in the classroom and beyond.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories was working with an international student who was earning her PhD. We worked together on her writing, presentation, and reading skills as English was not her first language. I was happy to follow her journey to successfully defend her dissertation and earn her degree.

Hobbies & Interests

When I am not tutoring I love to be outdoors, hiking, and rock climbing. I also enjoy reading, playing video games, and spending time with my dog.
