About Me

I'm a certified teacher who's specialized in Mathematics and Bilingual / ESL education since 2019. I have nearly a decade of instructional experience ranging from traditional, virtual, and hybridized classroom environments, across multiple grade levels.

Tutoring Style

I'm an enthusiastic teacher and am especially fond of teaching mathematics. I adapt myself to the needs of my students, and am passionate about helping them grow, learn and succeed!

Success Story

I recently helped an aspiring teacher, who was struggling to pass the elementary praxis math test. He never got over a 141, but needed at least a 158. We met 2 - 3 times a week throughout the month of July and part of August. I identified his strengths and weaknesses, and targeted skills in the areas he needed to boost up his score. He's now on his way to being a certified teacher and working in his own classroom!

Hobbies & Interests

I love martial arts, especially Muay Thai, and have been an avid Muay Thai practitioner for about 5 years! I'm also officially a triathlete now, since I completed a sprint triathlon this past August, and will be competing in an Olympic triathlon next year! Otherwise, I love anime, art, games of all kinds (but especially boardgames, card games, and RPGs), hiking, and animals.
