I am a recent graduate from California State University, San Bernardino, with a BS in Physics and five years of experience as a math learning center instructor for grades 1 through 12. Additionally, I have served as a Learning Assistant for Electromagnetism, enhancing my skills in communicating complex scientific concepts effectively.

Success Story

One of my most rewarding tutoring experiences occurred during the shift to remote education, a period fraught with challenges for many students. I was working with a student named Audrey who struggled significantly with long division. Initially, it was a subject that brought her much frustration and anxiety. Through consistent sessions filled with patient guidance and persistent practice, Audrey transformed her approach to long division from dread to enthusiasm. By the end of our sessions, she not only mastered the skill but had grown to enjoy the challenges it presented. This transformation culminated in a heartfelt gesture of thanks—Audrey brought me cookies and a letter on her last day, a touching acknowledgment of the positive change we had achieved together. This experience reaffirmed the profound impact dedicated support can have on a student's educational journey.

Hobbies & Interests

When I'm not tutoring, I thoroughly enjoy exploring the great outdoors through camping, diving into the strategic complexities of tabletop games, and embracing the magic of Disneyland. These hobbies not only provide a refreshing break from my academic pursuits but also keep me connected to the joy of discovery—whether it's unraveling the mysteries of nature or experimenting with new strategies in games.
