About Me

I am a certified Mathematics teacher with more than two decades of experience in classroom teaching and tutoring. I have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from a prestigious university in the Philippines and I tutor students from grades 4 to 12.

Tutoring Style

For 21 years, I have been a math teacher and tutor dedicated to a student-centered approach that fosters confidence and understanding. My tutoring style emphasizes patience, adaptability, and simplifying complex concepts to meet each student's unique learning needs. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and achieve their full potential.

Success Story

One of my students who has an IEP and was once anxious about math, made incredible progress through after-school tutoring. With consistent support, she went from being hesitant to eagerly participating in class. She became the first to raise her hand to answer questions and loved explaining her solutions to her classmates. She continued working with me for after-school tutoring until she graduated high school, and now she is studying Early Childhood education because she wants to become a teacher herself. Watching her transform from anxious to confident and pursue her passion for teaching has been truly rewarding.

Hobbies & Interests

In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that keep me engaged and balanced. I love playing chess online, gardening, and listening to classical and instrumental Disney music to unwind. I also travel a lot. Traveling sparks my sense of adventure while exploring new apps, which keeps me updated with technology. Oh! Cooking and baking are also passions of mine, I love to create special meals for my loved ones. These activities keep me organized and inspired.
