I am a certified High School Teacher with over twenty years of math tutoring experience. I have also taught English as a Second Language as well as Skiing. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado, a CELTA certification from Cambridge University and I offer math tutoring for grades 9 through College. My specialty is Calculus.

Tutoring Style:

I believe that Math is a language that everyone can learn. I meet my students where they are at and work at their pace. I'm extremely patient, highly passionate about Math and confident that I can help anyone who wants to improve their skills.

Success Story:

One of my most frequent clients was a Computer Programming student in need of passing Calculus 1 and 2 at his University. He had failed Calculus 1 previously but after weekly or twice weekly sessions with me, he was able to pass Calculus 1 with a high B and returned to me for help in Calculus 2 where he received an A. He went on to graduate and is now working in his chosen field of game design.

Hobbies & Interests:

When I'm not working, you'll find me playing music (piano, guitar, harmonica), skiing, hiking, camping, playing games (video and table top) reading, painting, shooting pool or traveling.
