About Me

I have 12 years of classroom math teaching experience and have also worked with small groups and one-on-one tutoring since my university years. I have taught math in four different countries and hold a bachelor's degree from Marmara University in Istanbul. I tutor students from grade 5 through college.

Tutoring Style

I am passionate about teaching math and love seeing my students have those "aha" moments. My tutoring style is methodical and step-by-step, ensuring each concept is thoroughly understood before moving on. I cover prerequisite skills to build a strong foundation, tailoring my approach to meet each student's individual needs. My goal is to make math enjoyable and accessible, helping students gain confidence and achieve success.

Success Story
‍

One of my favorite success stories involves two students who failed their 7th grade state test and were struggling with Algebra. Initially, they wanted to switch to a regular 8th grade math class, finding Algebra too difficult. I encouraged them to stay in the Algebra class, promising to guide them throughout the year with all the tactics and tricks needed for success. Through small group sessions and consistent support, both students not only passed the Algebra test but achieved a Masters Level score.
