I earned a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of Pittsburgh and I tutor grades 6-College.

My tutoring style:

I like to focus on ensuring that my students understand the reasoning behind the questions that they are solving. I also do my best to push them to find the answer themselves and guide them along the way.

Success story:

I had a chemistry student that failed their first exam. As a pre-med student, they felt if they couldn’t handle chemistry they would be unable to handle the other pre-medical courses and had considered giving up on their dreams of becoming a physician. However, by working with the student diligently and ensuring that they were able to understand concepts at a deeper level, I made sure that this student was able to succeed. Slowly this student was able to perform better on quizzes and tests, and ultimately finished the class with an A. They continued on with their pre-med journey.
