About Me

I'm a certified math teacher for grades 7 - 12 but have also worked with students ranging from grades 3 to freshman college in math, ELA, and SAT/ACT prep. I hold a bachelor's degree in Finance from Baruch College and a master's degree in Mathematics Education from Brooklyn College.

Tutoring Style

As someone who struggled in math, I truly understand how challenging math can be. I decided to become a math teacher because students need a teacher who is patient and can help them build their confidence. I strongly believe that all students can be successful if given the correct
instruction and guidance.

Success Story

As a teacher/tutor, it has been a great pleasure seeing students who come in performing below grade level or failing and, after working with them, seeing their growth and confidence and bringing out what was already inside. This has resulted in my students becoming stronger math students and performing well in their courses and on their standardized tests.
