About Me

I am an engineer, with more than 15 years of experience in the classroom, and 25 years tutoring quantitative subjects, from Algebra to Statistics, Calculus or Data Science. I have worked with students from 6th grade to graduate courses, from different states and countries.

Tutoring Style

I am very passionate about quantitative topics and enjoy developing materials and tools to help students. Math is sometimes complex, and I try to put myself in the student's position, to optimize the results.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped a high school student. He was taking Algebra and was struggling. We worked together in some other subjects, like Geometry and Precalculus, and he was getting better. After around two years of working, he finished high school and I did not meet him for about a year. When he and his mother contacted me again to help with college classes he proudly showed me how independent he had become. Our effort paid off.
