I have been tutoring/teaching for eight years. I tutor grades 3-8.

Tutoring Style

I believe that we are partners in the journey of math. I do my best to make sure that the student is able to feel good about the work being done. I make sure that the student understands that there are multiple ways to solve a problem. The goal is for the student to be able to have confidence and work independently.

Success Story

I had a student who began our time with severe anxiety about math. We met three times a week and were able to raise her confidence and execution. At the halfway mark she was able to test proficient for the whole school year.
