I have more than a decade of tutoring experience. I am a graduate of Hampton University, where I studied print journalism and marketing and earned a bachelor's degree. I tutor grades PK-6.

My tutoring style:

I have a dynamic style of tutoring. I am always upbeat, encouraging, and patient with students. I have structured lesson plans for tutoring sessions, but I do leave room for flexibility. I adapt my tutoring style to the needs of the student.
My motto is: "Learning should be fun and engaging!"

Success story:

Helping students with reading is very rewarding. Last year, I helped a student struggling to read and it boosted her self esteem overall! A student once afraid to raise her hand in class, became a confident reader by the end of the school year.

Hobbies and interests:

I like to bike, run and skate.
I also love to practice playing my clarinet, scrapbooking, and having fun with my 2 cats, Lily and Levi!
