I am a mathematics teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from California State University, Los Angeles. I love to teach mathematics from the elementary level all the way to college-level algebra. I tutor grades 5-11.

My tutoring style:

My teaching style will help you to learn mathematics. We will work together until we get it. I will repeat it and modify the lesson until you feel comfortable with the topic. At the end, you will explain to me how you solve the problem because once you can articulate the mathematical process in your own words, that means you got it. My teaching style will be the one you need to learn mathematics.

Success story:

I have had many successes in teaching mathematics. The one that always comes first is about that 7th grade student who was placed in lower-level classes because he did not speak English. When I started tutoring him, I realized that my student was really smart and able to do higher mathematics. I invited him to enroll in my college class. He learned to speak English in less than a year, graduated from high school when he was 16 and completed a BS in nuclear Engineering; Consequently; he is now working for NASA and completing his PhD in mathematics. Every year, I get a message that he is doing fantastic things with his life.

Hobbies and interests:

I love to walk 4 miles every day around a lake. I listen to all kinds of music, especially the one my seven years old son and my wife prefer. They love Maneskin band.
