I have been a mathematics instructor/tutor in varying capacities for 10 years now. I have 4+ years of experience teaching/tutoring in a remote setting. I have 4 years of experience teaching college-level mathematics courses at my alma mater. I have experience working with students in the following subject areas: Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Topology, Graph Theory, AP Physics, and AP Chemistry. I also have 5+ years of experience pertaining to curriculum development in many of the aforementioned areas. I am a teacher by nature, and education is my passion in terms of my career.
I am a big fan of the Socratic method. I am also excellent at varying my teaching style to fit the learning styles of different clients. I can explain mathematics topics in a variety of different ways and describe them in generated example problems
I helped one student earn an approximately 95th percentile score on the SAT. Earning this score helped this student attend a highly prestigious institution. I was incredibly proud of the work that this student dedicated to earn this score, and I was very proud to have helped them earn this score and help them achieve their educational goals.
I like to write. I also like to listen to music. I am a kickboxer and a scuba diver.
