I'm a test-prep professional with many years of experience preparing high school students for standardized exams. I make question-style a priority and teach students how to master the targeted test. I also have a bachelor's degree in social sciences from the University of Cape Town.

Tutoring Style

I believe that every student is able to reach their goals - all they need is enough time and expert guidance! I'm a positive and encouraging educator who empowers students to take charge of their own academic journeys. I start by gauging the student's confidence level in each topic and identifying opportunities for growth. My intention is for each student to come away from my sessions feeling accomplished and hopeful!

Success Story

A student named Michael came to me with a starting ACT score of 19. He had really ambitious goals and was feeling incredibly dejected. He had already decided he could never get into the colleges he wanted, and this self-perception was a huge barrier to his success. We spent a lot of time reframing his thoughts, and once Michael started to believe in his own abilities, his progress shot through the roof. By the time we finished our program, he reached an incredible score of 33!
