About Me

I was a college professor for 5 years and have homeschooled my own children. I tutor math, economics, and computer programming for grades 6-College.

Tutoring Style

I like to find the knowledge gaps that students don't know they have so that we can empower them to succeed now and in the future. I am patient and will meet a student at whatever level they need. I also have a lot of enthusiasm for the subjects I teach.

Success Story

One of my 7th-grade students got behind in math due to a series of events outside of their control. They struggled to follow along in class and often had trouble knowing where to start on homework assignments. We started with the basics and slowly built in all of the gaps that the students had. Within one year, the student was able to feel confident not only with 7th-grade level math but was succeeding with much more advanced concepts.
