As a highly experienced math tutor with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I am confident in my ability to help your child succeed in their math studies. I have a master's degree in business administration and I tutor grades 4-College.

My tutoring style:

I prefer to teach by using the Socratic method. By posing thought-provoking questions, I encourage the students to become active, engaged learners who discover their own abilities to learn and take ownership of the information they gained.

Success story:

Despite being a bright student, one of my clients was having trouble understanding the new math curriculum, and his frustration was causing tension with his mom, who was trying to help him with his homework. It was having a real impact on their relationship to the point that they were constantly fighting. After working with me, he began to gain confidence in his math abilities, and his relationship with his mom improved as well. It was awesome to be a part of helping a child become stronger in math and happier in his studies and watch him rebuild his relationship with his mom.

Hobbies and interests:

I love spending time with my family, travel, and good food. I love to go on walks around my small town in the mountains and take my son to little towns around us to ride bikes and 4x4s. We enjoy exploring out of the way places and going to catch fish in mountain creeks. We adore traveling to beach towns and learning about history.
