About Me

I am a certified elementary teacher with 7 years of experience in the classroom. I have taught grades k-8 in all subjects at various grade levels. I currently teach 5th grade math. I received my bachelor's degree from Monmouth University in 2017.

Tutoring Style

My tutoring style focuses on teaching the whole student by meeting them where they are and understanding their unique needs. I strive to make learning both fun and engaging, using creative and interactive methods that resonate with the student’s interests. By creating a supportive and positive environment, I help build their confidence and foster a genuine love for learning.

Success Story

I once tutored a second grader who was struggling with her multiplication facts. We spent our sessions going over the material patiently, and I encouraged her to stay confident and keep practicing. The following week, she surprised me by mastering most of her multiplication facts. She even expressed her love and appreciation, which was incredibly rewarding and a reminder of the impact consistent support can have on a student’s confidence and success.

Hobbies & Interests

In my free time, I enjoy learning American Sign Language (ASL), which allows me to connect with a broader community. I also love engaging in creative activities like coloring and diamond painting, which provide a relaxing outlet for my artistic side. Running my side business of designing and making T-shirts is another passion of mine, where I can combine creativity with entrepreneurship. Additionally, I cherish spending time with family and friends, whether it’s enjoying a meal out, watching movies, or playing board games together.
