I am a young and vibrant tutor, teacher, and mentor with more than 10 years of experience. I have a bachelor's degree in religion with a minor in mathematics from the Northern Caribbean University and I tutor grades 2-College.

My tutoring style:

I'm a firm believer in guiding students through conceptual understanding which empowers them to be able to solve problems they've never seen before. Using a Socratic approach to discovery, students get an opportunity to synthesize their knowledge in such a way that they've derived a procedure for solving complex problems.

Success story:

She joined our sessions in grade 11 having struggled with Math since about grade 9. Despite her challenge with ADHD and her new found struggle with Math, she was able to improve her performance by an entire letter grade. Since then, we've been working together for another 3 years which saw her acing her grade 12 as well as college level Math course.

Hobbies and interests:

Playing volleyball, video games, chess, watching comedy series.
