About Me

I taught Mathematics at West Virginia University for 15 years. I have a Master's in Mathematics from WVU and a Master's in Philosophy from UIC.

Tutoring Style

Highly accommodating, approachable, and patient with all students, with exceptional capacity and strong comfort level instructing students from a wide variety of backgrounds and with a wide variety of skill levels.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped a non-traditional returning student majoring in Art successfully complete the Quantitative Reasoning class he needed for graduation. He came into the class fearful of math and doubting his abilities. By the end, he was enjoying himself and had a newfound appreciation for his own math skills.

Hobbies & Interests

I love to hike with my dog in the woods. I also enjoy reading and playing video games.
