About Me

I am a certified Early Childhood Education teacher with 11 years of teaching all subject areas for the grade levels of Pre-K - grade 4. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland College Park.

Tutoring Style

I am a nurturing teacher who shares enthusiasm for learning. I believe in cultivating a learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their needs. I believe in growing healthy relationships with students and families to support students with their academic needs.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped my fourth-grade student progress in math. He struggled with multiplication, division, and fractions. We met twice a week and we worked on fluency facts to gain his confidence in math. His grade in math by the fourth quarter of school changed from failing to passing with a B+ but more importantly, he started to feel confident in his math skills and started to develop a love for math.
