About Me

I've been a certified math teacher for 8 years in high schools and a tutor for much longer. I tutor from grades 5 to 12.

Tutoring Style

My style is to help the student become someone who can one-day study for themselves and have confidence in any math they approach. I do this by suggesting note-taking strategies along the way. I also enjoy playing Educational games with students to help them stay engaged in the session.

Success Story

I had a student I was able to tutor for 3 years. The first year, he didn't care too much for our sessions, but he eventually discovered how he could best use our time. He's started to view me not as a tutor who he needed help from but rather an advisor, who he could check his work with. He graduated high school and scored well on his SAT in Math. I'm very proud of him.
