About Me

I'm a teacher with seven years of experience. I taught from 5th to 10th grade math. I'm bilingual and tutored in Spanish. I like making math fun and easy to understand. I have a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York.

Tutoring Style

I have been called calm, nice, and patient by my students. I like to make math easy to understand. I make jokes and use my students' interests to keep their attention. I pace myself so that my students can learn at their speed.

Success Story

I once tutored a student who repeated the 7th grade because her math skills were low. I tutored her for 3 years. Her math skills improved and so did her confidence. With a lot of hard work, she eventually became top of her class and was able to graduate high school a year early (meaning she caught up with the rest of her friends!).
